It's been 40 years since these pictures taken from the tube TV of my unfinished #Mazinger game on #C64 due to lack of expertise at my 15 years old.

I have recovered the idea and mechanics of my unfinished #MazingerZ game for #C64 in 1985 and am developing it for my beloved #Atari2600❤

How to play

You must manage your Jet Pilder with the joystick in any direction of the screen and go approaching the runway to open fire against the enemies, if you press the fire button you will release a bomb towards them and if you leave it pressed you will get a machine gun type burst that will give you more firepower to remove them and manage to land on the runway near the Photonic Laboratory.

In the levels that you drive Mazinger with the Jet Scrander you must dodge all the enemies plus the shots of the Giant Robot near the runway, then you must go down and get to the level of the robot and collide it several times to destroy it and thus be able to land on the runway and advance to the next level.

Each time there will be more and more enemies on the screen and your mission to save the Laboratory and your friends that are sheltered there will be more difficult.

Scoring

The lowest enemy gives 150 points, the one in the middle 100 and the one at the top 50 points. When you pass to the next level you are rewarded with 1000 additional points. Collisions with the Giant Robot give you more points the faster you ram into it.

Game variations

Game 1: Normal flight speed of the Jet Pilder or Mazinger with the Jet Scrander.

Game 2: Speed 2X.

Han pasado 40 años desde estas fotos tomadas desde la tele de tubo de mi inacabado juego #Mazinger en #C64 por falta de pericia a mis 15 años.

He recuperado la idea y mecánica de mi inacabado juego #MazingerZ para #C64 en 1985 y lo estoy desarrollando para mi querida #Atari2600❤.

¿Cómo jugar?

Debes manejar tú Jet Pilder con el joystick en cualquier dirección de la pantalla e ir acercándote a la pista para abrir fuego contra los enemigos, si presionas el botón de disparo soltaras una bomba hacia ellos y si lo dejas apretado conseguirás una ráfaga tipo ametralladora que te dará más potencia de fuego para poder retirarlos y lograr aterrizar en la pista cerca del Laboratorio Fotónico.

En los niveles que manejas a Mazinger con el Jet Scrander debes esquivar a todos los enemigos más los disparos del Robot Gigante cerca de la pista, después debes bajar y ponerte al nivel del robot y colisionarlo varias veces para destruirlo y así poder aterrizar en la pista y avanzar al próximo nivel.

Cada vez habrá más enemigos en pantallas y será más difícil tú misión de salvar al Laboratorio y a tus amigos que se resguardan ahí.

Puntuación

El enemigo de más abajo da 150 puntos, el del medio 100 y el de más arriba 50 puntos. Cuando pasas de nivel eres recompensado con 1000 puntos adicionales. Las colisiones con el Robot Gigante te dan más puntos mientras más rápido sea tú embestida contra él.
