In 1985, as a 15-year-old teenager, I couldn't finish the game due to lack of knowledge. 40 years later, I've done it and by far♥️
Gameplay
You must control Koji Kabuto as the Photonic Laboratory is invaded by Dr. Hell and his henchmen: Baron Ashura, the Headless Count, and their troops of Tetsukamen and Iron Masks.
Sayaka Yumi will launch 16 giant batteries that Koji must collect in each level to complete Mazinger's repairs. The batteries turn into bombs when they land on the hangar floor; Koji must avoid this at all costs because it causes him to lose energy. Direct contact with enemies also drains his energy, and if his energy reaches zero, he loses a life and must start over.
A freeze ray gun randomly appears in each level, which has the power to freeze Tetsukamen, Iron Masks, or Baron Ashura for 5 seconds, giving him more time to collect the batteries.
Go up and down levels via the elevators located in the corners by pressing the joystick up or down. Move from right to left. When you pick up the ray gun, you can fire it once with the fire button. Reload it by grabbing the gun in the constantly changing, randomly positioned hangar.

Development and acknowledgments
The game is developed using the AGPX GAME MAKER engine (version 2.2.1), a Basic to C language transpiler, which is then compiled with the excellent Oscar 64 for Dr. Mortal Wombat.
Adrián Bonnette provided his art for the in-game screens and the sprites that make up the Mazinger intro. I used all the sprites drawn in the GM IDE, and Narciso Quintana created the four SIDs, creating a wonderful recreation of the series' themes.
Coder Dirk Roosen, who programmed the games "El Cartero", "Hipofruta" and others, helped me a lot with programming tips for memory optimization and multiplexing.
Another special mention to my friend Pedro Urán from the channel "Commodore 64 Full" he tested the full game by looping it, he gave me advice that only a good Commodore could give, there are details of the game that are thanks to him and since we share the same taste for the original games of the system I couldn't count on anyone better than Pedro, he also helped me with the creation of the trailer from a real machine. Likewise, my friend Daniel Melendez (Danyquest) also helped me with the testing of the game on his Commodore Real PAL B, Dany has a Twitch channel where he does live broadcasts for the Spanish-speaking community, he has been correctly evangelizing about the platform for more than 20 years and he is a person that I can't leave aside to give me his opinion on my final product.

Great new game. I've also included it in my new video along with other recently released games. Hope you like it.
Thank you for your kind words and the video, I'll watch it now!♥️👾🕹️
Nice game. It keeps the feeling of old school games as expected of your own productions. The music is very cool and the gameplay is very smooth. Congratulations for this new release.
Thank you very much, Pedro, for your words, and yes, that's the purpose of these developments for the old-timers here, hahaha.♥️👾🕹️
A decent game with some good action style music involved. I found it tough to play the first time round, until realising I should have picked up the laser to slow down the enemies from draining the player's energy. The second level is challenging. I look forward to seeing your next game.
If you get confused the first time without reading the instructions, you'll figure out the mechanics the next time. Thanks Richard for your support and your kind words. Let's hope I can get one more before the end of the year. Oh and looking forward to your next game too!♥️👾🕹️
That Game Over music 😍
